They possess a soft, sugary peanut butter core and a crisp shell of dark chocolate. A drizzle of dissolved peanut butter presents them complete.

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups of rolled oats
  • 1 cup of peanut butter, almond butter or sunflower seed butter
  • ½ cup of maple syrup
  • ½ bowl of unsweetened shredded coconut or crispy rice cereal or oats
  • ¼ cup of melted dark chocolate

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Take peanut butter or almond butter or sunflower seed butter in a medium bowl.
  • Add unsweetened shredded coconut or crispy rice cereal or oats.
  • Combine maple syrup and mix until it comes as a paste.
  • Use a 1-tablespoon measure, roll the mixture into balls.
  • Freeze it for 15 minutes.
  • Dip it into a melted dark chocolate liquid and sprinkle some unsweetened coconut flakes or oats.
  • Again, freeze for 15 minutes.
