Cauliflower Rice Pilaf

Whoever got up with the plan of ricing cauliflower was splendid! It’s so clever and healthful, and if you’re deciding to stay apart from carbs, it’s a nice replacement. As I am honest, I would like to tell you that this procedure for cauliflower rice pilaf better than anything, which you won’t even avoid. Additionally, you may feel really enjoyable about trying it.

This cauliflower rice pilaf is an amazing side dish to have along with fish, broiler, or meats. It’s even great for an afternoon meal. You don’t even need to warm it up again, I’ve tasted it right out of the fridge like a salad. A dish of this pilaf is very comforting.

You can mix any veggies you like, but for me, I discovered this combo to be great. Along with the cauliflower rice, if you have some mushroom side dish, you will never forget the taste.

INGREDIENTS

        

  • 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • 2 cloves of minced garlic
  • Salt- as you want
  • ¼ cup of toasted almonds
  • ¼ cup of fresh herbs (chives, parsley, basil, etc.)
  • 2 teaspoons of lemon zest

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  • To make the rice
  • 1: Chop the cauliflowers and grind them with a food processor
  • 2: Separate the cauliflower into 4 parts and grate them
  • 3: You can directly buy the cauliflower rice
  • Heat the extra-virgin olive oil over medium heat and some garlic
  • When the fragrance comes, add the cauliflower rice and salt
  • stir it until it gets softened and cook it for 3-5 minutes
  • Remove from the heat
  • Stir the mixture in toasted almonds, fresh herbs, and lemon zest
