Berry Oatmeal in a Jar

Berry Oatmeal in a Jar

Now that the weather is hot, nearly every weekday morning after the gym, my breakfast habit is either this overnight Oatmeal, a green smoothie or a bowl of berries, topped with some crunchy nuts. Overnight Oatmeal is lovely, some people add Greek yoghurt to theirs for protein, but privately, I’m not a supporter of the tangy flavour. They are simple to make,

combine oats with some water, berries and place them in a jar overnight. Overnight oats are excellent for working mornings because they can be made ahead of time, are super comfortable with creating, compact, and they’ll hold you full till lunch.

This no-cook formula is super manageable to prepare ahead the night earlier and improves when the climate is warm, and you don’t sense like making over a hot cooker. I admire that you can make a batch of your desired flavourings. The other fun piece about overnight oats is that they never have to get dull. This recipe is ready. You can combine anything you need or whatever is in your pantry!

I like to work with different mixtures of new and chilled fruit, uniting sprinkles of savours like cinnamon or nutmeg, citrus zest for a bit of thrill, nuts for protein and crispy, or coconut flakes. Even some tablespoons of chocolate chips taste sweet, and it’s an excellent way to get your children to eat their morning meal!
